כוחה של הפסקה

כמו ביום כיפור, כמו בשבת, כמו בשנת שמיטה של השדה או בשנת שבתון של המורה, כך גופנו זקוק להפסקות: משקיעה לזריחה, שבתות, ווסתות ועונות, הפסקות בעיכול מזון, הפסקות בעיכול אינפורמציה, הפסקות ביחסים, זמן של הרפייה ניקוי וריקון.

בין שקיעה לזריחה עוזבת אנרגיית הגוף את מערכת העיכול ועוברת למעטפת הלב, לכבד ולראות, שם הדם מתנקה ומתחדש ומשתבח. זהו זמן להרפות מהעולם החיצון וממסכי הטלוויזיה והמחשב והטלפון, להכנס לאינטימיות של משפחה וזוגיות, להכנס לאינטימיות של אדם עם עצמו, להרפות ואף להרגע. אם לא ניתן לעצמנו את הזמן הזה בין שקיעה לזריחה, במחזור הבא של חיינו בין זריחה לשקיעה של היום הבא דמנו יהיה דל וחלש, אולי לא נחוש בכך במיידי אבל עם השנים יצוצו התסמינים.

גם יום השבת ניתן לנו כדי לנוח, להתרוקן מעניני דיומא, להתחדש ולהתרענן. זמן הווסת אצל האישה אף הוא זמן להפסקה מפעילות, צרכנות ויחסים, זמן למנוחה, הרפייה והתבוננות פנימית. גם צום עונתי הוא זמן שבו אנו עוברים מעיכול לניקוי טיהור והתחדשות.

שום רופא או תרופה לא ייתנו לנו את מה שהפסקה בריאה תיתן לנו, פשוט לזוז מהדרך, להפסיק למלא את עצמנו במזונות, מראות מסך, דעות וקולות, ואז, כמו שאומר דוקטור שלטון: "החומר החי מרפא את עצמו" הטבע כולו חי בין פעילות למנוחה אז למה שלא אנחנו?

עלינו להיות קשובים למחזורי החיים היומיים, השבועיים, החודשיים והעונתיים, לדעת מתי מחזור חדש מתחיל מתוף הפסקה מרעננת ומטהרת, ומתי הוא נגמר אל תוך הפסקה מנקה ומרוקנת. לא יתכן שההפסקות שלנו יהיו עוד סוג של התמלאות במזונות, תוכניות עמוסות ומערכות יחסים מלחיצות, ואם ככה נראים הערבים שלכם, השבתות שלכם, הווסתות שלכן, והחופשות העונתיות שלכן, צריך להסתכל על זה ולצאת להפסקה אמיתית.
